Labrum Optical Engineering is a consulting firm providing custom lens and prism design; custom optical system design (including laser & fiber optics); high-speed camera design (photographic & video); and opto-mechanical design support for Government and commercial industry.

Mr. Labrum, our CEO, has over thirty years of experience in many different segments of the optical engineering discipline. He has designed, built and demonstrated a wide variety of optical and electro-optical apparatus during his career A portion of his experience is highlighted on this home page and can also be found in a full color brochure entitled Look to Labrum that will be sent to you on request.

Mr. Labrum is also an active member of SPIE (The International Society for Optical Engineers) and teaches two professional short courses for them. One course is entitled "Basic Color Perception and measurement" and the other is entitled "Advanced Color Perception and Measurement".

You may already have a competent design group in house that may only need an outside sounding board once in a while; or perhaps you may need someone to manage an entire project.
